A chance at media literacy for youth from disadvantaged environments

About InMedia

Disinformation has become a constant threat in our lives and more often than not, it preys upon our differences, harming those most vulnerable.

InMedia aims to break the cycle by increasing media literacy competencies in young people from difficult cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Youngsters from Romania, Hungary, and The Republic of Moldova will then become more resilient to disinformation, within our project’s main objective: supporting youth to consume and produce media responsibly and equitably, with regard for human rights.

Educational Resources

InMedia’s priority: INCLUSION

That is the reason why we aim to provide the space and resources necessary to ensure the transferability of inclusive media literacy competencies from trained youth workers to vulnerable youth through innovative and interactive methods adequate for non-formal learning.

Among the open-access resources, we provide offline and online interactive lessons, applied exercises, and case studies on topics such as disinformation, hate speech, and stereotypes.

Partners

InMedia is the result of a transnational effort, in the eastern European region, of partners from Romania, Hungary, and the Republic of Moldova.
